We are looking for a New Business and Marketing Assistant to help us continue to build our reputation in the industry and with prospective clients. This exciting and fast-paced position will be full time and sits within our new business and marketing team focusing on driving and project managing our marketing and new business activities.

The New Business and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Helping execute our marketing plan
  • Managing and updating our website to create a useful point of entry to the agency for all potential users (new work, new clients, new thought pieces etc) and ensure the best imagery is used on this platform
  • Taking ownership and implement plans across all social channels (Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn), ensuring regular and consistent utilisation and engaging content
  • Assisting our PR director and maximise opportunities to enhance agency reputation through trade PR – including announcements of new hires, clients, campaign launches, thought pieces and further media opportunities such as event speaking opps
  • Maintaining a case study library including writing new case studies
  • Building and maintaining a relationship with intermediaries (such as IPM, AAR, Creative brief) and keep them updated at all time on our latest work and news
  • Helping the PR director with the writing and coordinating of industry award nominations
  • Supporting the launch, plan & delivery of priority initiatives for 2019, creating a timeline and managing stakeholders and outputs
  • Daily reading of the trade press and ability to spot opportunities that are aligned with our NB and marketing strategy

The New Business and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the running of new business pitches
  • Helping manage the entire process for RFIs, pitches, chemistry meetings and pitch theatre, knowing when to pull in extra support
  • Helping deliver pitches that we are proud of and follow the new business process from start to finish whilst keeping the pitch team up to date at all times
  • Anticipating the needs of the pitch team and make arrangements accordingly
  • Prioritising your workload so that you can manage multiple tasks across numerous projects with competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Managing our pipeline report and prospecting status report, including weekly reporting and monthly analysis of our new business performances
  • Managing all logistics: appointments, pitch calendar, conference room bookings, etc.
  • Working closely with the Creative Production team to book design/studio/edit resource and brief printers on requirements.
  • Manage NB and Marketing invoices on our PO system and maintain our budgets up to date
  • Has exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Show initiative and a fresh way of thinking about things – suggesting new ideas and expressing opinions
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; equally versatile in professional and creative writing and can adapt tone, style, grammar, vocabulary, etc. based on audience
  • Understands the value of anticipation and proactivity and actively seeks opportunities to learn, grow, and produce
  • Possesses excellent project management skills (schedules, timelines, task prioritization) – to ensure accurate delivery of projects on schedule
  • Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
  • Incredible attention to detail and double-checking data – accuracy is critical
  • Ability to work autonomously – self-starter
  • Highly proficient in Keynote, MS Excel and MS Word
  • Passionate about media communications and advertising
